Our Promise

We Don't
Cherry-Pick
Easy Cases.

Most rescues take the easy wins. We built TWRDA around the belief that every animal deserves a second chance — especially the ones who need it most.

We're licensed by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. We operate with complete transparency. And once an animal is in our care, they stay in our care — no surrendering to shelters, ever.

01
Training First
Every dog works with our professional training partner. We don't just place animals — we prepare them for long-term success.
02
Lifelong Commitment
Once a TWRDA animal, always a TWRDA animal. No animal is ever surrendered to another shelter for any reason.
03
Complex Cases Welcome
Heartworm positive, behavioral challenges, senior animals with medical needs. We show up for the hardest ones.
