FAQs
Do I need experience with animals?
No. We match animals to your experience level. First-time fosters are welcome — we provide full guidance and support.
How long is a foster commitment?
It varies. Some placements are 2–4 weeks; others are longer for medical recovery. We're flexible and never pressure you.
Can I foster if I have other pets?
Often yes. We do careful introductions and only place animals in multi-pet homes when we're confident it's a good fit.
What if I fall in love and want to adopt?
It happens all the time. Foster-to-adopt is welcomed and encouraged.
Do you cover vet costs?
100%. We cover all medical care, food, and supplies. You should never pay out of pocket for a TWRDA foster.
